- - - The Lemieux ProIce Freeze Therapy Boots provide targeted therapy for tendons and joints after strenuous exercise.The foil layer effectively insulates and prolongs the cold effect, whilst the soft mesh lining protects your horse's skin from freeze burn and allows for maximum transfer of cold. The unique Hypo-Freeze Gel remains soft and contours around the lower limb ensuring maximum surface contact with the parts of the leg most affected by exercise.
Regular use of ProIce boots for short periods (20-30mins) after intense exercise can prevent small injuries developing and ensure ligaments, tendons and joints remain tight and free of excess fluid build-up. The sooner temperature of tendons can be reduced after work the better. This can apply to high intensity dressage as well as galloping, jumping and cross-country.
Use of ProIce Boots can prevent the onset of localised swelling, heat and pain resulting in possible injury or lameness. The purpose of cold therapy is to break the cycle of inflammatory response before it causes cell damage. Cold treatment greatly reduces the amount of tissue lost to secondary injury.

Place boots or inserts in freezer for minimum 4-6hrs or overnight prior to application. Use in short 20-30min sessions / multiple times daily in severe cases. Press securely to mould gel. Ensure straps are firmly closed but not over tight.

Tack Shack does not accept any responsibility for late deliveries caused by a delivery company.Please check your actual size measurements with any size chart provided. We encourage our customers to measure themselves rather than just rely on the fact that they are a size 12 as size 12 can vary in actual size between manufacturers. Tack Shack does not cover the cost of return postage if an item is defect free and correctly supplied.Please note we are unable to provide instructions like please leave with neighbour or please leave behind fence as our insurance company does not support goods that have not been delivered to the recipient.Supply Time PromiseAs many of our goods come in from overseas, once an order is accepted it will be dispatched within 14-28 business days as stated on each product page under "Delivery Information section". Customers who wish to cancel goods before expiry of this time period without stating their required delivery date will issued in store credit in accordance with any other return. Special Order Items will be delivered in accordance with the 14-28 day rule or longer if stated and cannot be cancelled.
Special order products that are purchased via Layby will not be ordered until at least 50% of the value of the goods has been paid for.
Eg. David orders a $400 pair of special order boots which are usually 8-12 weeks supply time from point of order. David makes payments of $100 per week until the balance is paid off in 4 weeks. After 2 weeks Tack Shack will order the boots when $200 (50%) of the order value has been made. This is when the supply time will commence and the boots will be sent within 8-12 weeks from this pointWe offer 7 days returns on most products. Some items are excluded from being returned and these are detailed in our terms and conditions on our website
